Spiked Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 3 tbs cocoa powder

  • 2 cups of 2% milk

  • 3 tbs sugar

  • ¼ cup of semisweet chocolate chips

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 pinch cinnamon

  • 1 ½–2 oz Mocha Crème Liqueur

Instructions
  1. Place a saucepan over medium heat and start by whisking the cocoa powder with ¼ cup of milk until it’s mostly smooth.
  2. Slowly pour in the rest of the milk, whisking as you go.
  3. Add the chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, and gently heat until the chocolate melts into a rich, velvety mixture, about 2 minutes.
  4. Be careful not to let it boil!
  5. Stir in the Mocha Crème Liqueur. 
  6. Pour into your favorite mug and serve right away, topping it off with a dollop of whipped cream or a handful of marshmallows for the perfect finishing touch.
